The solar power plant we are building has a rated power of 40 MW and is expected to generate approximately 58,916,000 kWh of clean electricity per year.
The solar panels used in the power plant are produced by HT SAAE, a world-leading company in the solar industry. Each panel has a rated power of 360 W and an efficiency of 18.55%. In total, the power plant will consist of 83,333 solar panels.
Our solar power plant is equipped with a state-of-the-art remote dispatching and monitoring system. This system allows us to remotely control and monitor the performance of the power plant, ensuring maximum efficiency and uptime.
The location of our solar power plant was chosen after thorough research and analysis of various regions in Georgia. The 60-hectare plot is located in Gardabani municipality, an area known for its high daily solar irradiation levels. Additionally, the power plant is strategically located just 2.7 km away from the Gardabani electric substation, ensuring a reliable connection to the grid.
The Georgian government has shown strong support for the development of renewable energy in the country, offering favorable conditions and incentives for investors. Sun Energy Bank has been working closely with the government to ensure that the solar power plant meets all regulatory requirements and takes advantage of available benefits. This support includes feed-in tariffs, customs and VAT exemptions, and simplified procedures for obtaining necessary permits and licenses.
